Dr. Mohamed Boubekri (Co-P.I.) from the School of Architecture and Dr. Kristen Bub (P.I.) from the Department of Educational Psychology were awarded a NIH grant to study the role of daylight exposure in classroom environments on children and teachers’ health, educational functioning and well-being. The study will specifically focus on a plausible pathway from daylight exposure, to sleep quality and duration, to children’s health and educational outcomes.
